The practical child protection safety planning methods put forward by Andrew Turnell are becoming increasingly well known around the world. While the ideas are simple, becoming competent and confident in the detail and management of these safety-planning methods requires sustained practice and reflection over many years and many cases.
This all-new workshop will assist workers to expand their understanding and skill-set by digging into the details of safety planning.

This five-day advanced training will suit professionals involved in all aspects of child protection and child welfare.
The residency will be equally targeted at enabling professionals to use the Signs of Safety approach in direct practice as well equipping senior practitioners, supervisors and managers to take the lead in implementing the approach within their agency.
Dr Andrew Turnell is an independent social worker and family therapist from Perth and is an internationally recognized expert in collaborative, safety-organised child protection practice.

This intensive workshop is designed for agency leaders who are already engaging in the Signs of Safety framework and are committed to taking their practice and leadership to the next level.
Our 3½-day agenda is designed to challenge participants to look closely at their own practice and to share their experience with other participants.
